Grayton Proudly Sponsor Dale Park Belles Football Team

Grayton

It's been another good season for the Belles, who now have 20 girls in the squad. It's with great pleasure that Grayton continue to support this young team.

The team has played very well this year with 10 wins, 11 losses and 1 draw. They competed really well against the likes of Costello and Hull United, who this year, have been feeders for Hull Ladies and Doncaster Belles.

From the Dale Park Belle’s squad, three players have registered for Doncaster Belles, which is a great achievement for them, including one who has been training at St George’s England camp for goal keepers. It’s great to know we are feeding the next potential women teams and hopefully they move higher into professional football.

This year, the Belles also hosted a mini girls tournament for girls in the local area (see picture) which included five teams from around North Lincolnshire as part of the Winterton Show. It was a great day and has attracted lots of interest in girls football.

This year the Belles have been instructed to stay in Lincolnshire and be a part of a new league in this area – pitched against sides in Barton, Grimsby and Lincoln.

We wish the Belles the very best of luck – everyone is hopeful for another successful year.
